Literature Focus for Camp Harmony

Sone says camp "was hopefully called Camp Harmony". Do you think the name is appropriate, or is it ironic? Support your answer with the evidence from the text?

I think it was ironic to name the camp Harmony because the camp is like a prison to the Japanese Americans, they eat bad food and the place is very dirty. Sone said, "What was i doing behind a fence like a criminal?" Harmony is something that has to do with music, and music makes people feel better, not make them feel worse. I think the proper name should be Japanese American supervisor or somehthing like that.

  2. I agree with Vivi. Your executed the assignment tersely, but some more evidence would make for a stronger response.
